Last year, we were at the Bawjiase Children’s home and this year we will be spending time with the children at Joykol foundation formerly known as Joykol school complex and needy home in Kasoa in the central region of Ghana on 22nd December 2017 at 9am.
We believe that every child deserves the basic needs of livelihood and everyone must play a role to help those who cannot afford them.
Joykol foundation has been in existence for more than five years and rely on corporate bodies, non-governmental organizations and the public for the welfare of these orphans. Currently there are 41 children, 23 boys and 18 girls ranging between the ages of 8 and 17 years.
This year’s theme is dubbed “GOING BEYOND GIVING”, which implies that there will be other activities aside giving out donated items. There will be a general examination for the children including blood sugar test, a talk on personal hygiene, teaching of handicraft items, playing fun games and eating with them.
